The Mission Marketing Group plc (the missiontm), the marketing communications and advertising Group, announced today that its healthcare Agency, Solaris, has acquired echogroup.
echogroup was founded in 2008 by Mike Dixon and Marian Byrt as a healthcare Agency delivering integrated communication solutions to the pharmaceutical, devices and consumer health industries, as well as health charities. It has seen successful growth since, with 10 members of staff working with blue chip Clients including Bayer, Genzyme, GSK Consumer Health, Hospira and Ipsen.
Solaris already offers a wide range of services including medical communications, and strategic consultancy services, with a Client base including GSK, Roche, Chugai, Ipsen, Ferring and Almirall.
Mike Dixon, Director at echogroup, outlined the future as part of Solaris: “We are delighted to be joining Solaris and the wider missiontm Group. The combined team will continue to provide the experience, knowledge and passion they have consistently delivered for Clients, both in the UK and globally. The synergy from joint resources and expertise will further consolidate the position of Solaris as a major force within the healthcare communications industry.”
